The Milwaukee Bucks won their last game of the season with a 110-106 overtime road victory over the playoff-bound Oklahoma City Thunder. But despite the success in their season finale, the Brew City outfit will miss the post-season play this campaign as they finished ninth over-all in the Eastern Conference with a 35-47 win-loss card. The Bucks were only two games behind the eight and last qualifier, the Indiana Pacers. There were a number of close defeats that could have gone either way plus injuries to star players Brandon Jennings (midway in the season) and Andrew Bogut (late in the season) all contributed to another failed season. Bucks guard John Salmons did not hide his frustration as he believes the whole team did not accomplished the goal they had set forth before the start of the season, according to the Journal Sentinel.
“To me, it just feels like a failure. We just couldn't get it together. It's disappointing. Team-wise and myself, the season we had, we didn't accomplish what we set out to accomplish. You could see the potential we had. It's still there. It's not like the talent is going anywhere. It's just up to us to put it all together and make it work next year.”
