Move over Peter, you are no longer the most popular Griffin in town. “The Blake Griffin Phenomena” is fast sweeping Tinseltown. Count in Los Angeles Clippers veteran center Chris Kaman as among those who shows unconditional love for the amazing rookie. Kaman thinks the Clippers would never lose a player like Griffin and he even gave an advise to the latter to buy a house in the city because he will be staying here for a longtime, according to the Los Angeles Times.
“I (Chris Kaman) told Blake (Griffin), 'You might as well buy a house, buddy. You're going to be here six more years. Any time you're a restricted free agent, the team has a second option, you don't lose a player like Blake Griffin. You just don't.
“He really doesn't have much of a choice whether he wants to be here or not. You can't have someone write a story in the paper saying they [the Clippers] lost Blake Griffin … that's so far down the road, who knows what will happen?”
