The Boston Celtics have so far defeated most if not all the teams with winning records thus far but have also sputtered against some of the teams below .500. This is one thing the defending Eastern Conference champions had to address immediately. Celtics starting PG Rajon Rondo thinks the team has to come out mentally prepared in every game, according to the Boston Globe.
“I think the biggest thing with us is challenging ourselves every day, with every opponent. We’re always up for these types of games — the Lakers, the Heat, the teams supposed to be the teams to beat in the league. It’s just the teams that are under .500 that we’re struggling with right now. I think it’s a lack of focus. We’ve got to come mentally prepared better.”
