For some players, getting all the boos is a big source of distraction and humiliation. But don’t include Carlos Boozer of the Chicago Bulls as among those. The 6-9 former Duke star is made of different stuff that he gets motivated whenever there are fans throwing invectives at him on the court. Boozer says haters fuels his game, according to ESPN.
“You need them to keep you motivated. Little do they know, haters motivate. Guys like me take that in stride and use that as fuel ... it fuels you. I'm not one of those guys you can hate on and expect me [to be like] "Oh, you're hating on me ..." No, I'm not like that. I get motivated.”
