Hall-of-Famer Phil Jackson may have coached his last game in Tinseltown but it does not necessarily mean he has retired from NBA coaching. Based on his track record, Jackson is someone who has lot of pride in him. For sure, he will try to erase the stigma of his last coaching stint with the Los Anges Lakers, in which resulted in an extremely embarrassing 4-0 defeat in their second round playoff series against the Dallas Mavericks, which includes a 36-point blowout in game four. The scuttlebutt is the man called “Jacko” is setting his eye on a possible mentoring job with the New York Knicks, a team which he saw action for during his NBA playing days. A league source says if everything falls into place then Gotham City could be Jackson’s next destination, according to the New York Post.
“If the right situation presented itself, he would have to consider it.”
