Year one of the Miami Heat celebrated trio ended in a big frustration. From all indications, it looks like a LeBron James-Dwyane Wade tandem lacks the necessary chemistry to make it happen in South Beach. With the Heat’s defeat in the title series against the Dallas Mavericks, many wonder if it’s worth the investment on the two future hoop hall of famers. ABC TV commentator and former NBA head coach Jeff Van Gundy thinks it is hightime for the Heat management to evaluate their current resources and trading for a top flight center like Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic for any of the two superstars looks sensible at all, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
“I think that Wade and James, going forward, they have to evaluate: Is that the best compliment they could be? Or should they make a play for Dwight Howard using one of those two guys, to get a more balanced team? That’s for the offseason.”
