Newly-acquired star forward Amare Stoudemire of the New York Knicks is currently enjoying his vacation in Jerusalem, Israel. Stoudemire is taking some time off before heading back to the Apple City for more training in anticipation of the coming NBA season. He is very excited to visit the Holy Land and other important historical sites, according to an article posted in the Jerusalem Post.
“The Holy Land has always been high on my list of places to visit, and when this opportunity arose, I wasn’t going to push it off any longer. I’m here for a vacation and to get some rest before the season. I am so excited to be here, see all the important historical sites, learn Hebrew and to get a better understanding of my heritage.”
