After playing hard to get in the past which finally drew the ire of New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov, Denver Nuggets disgruntled star Carmelo Anthony sounds like he wants to re-open negotiation talks once again with the Russian billionaire. It can be recalled that Prokhorov called off the deal with Anthony a few weeks back because of the time wasted and negative effects it has on several people including his own players. Anthony is hoping that he can still sit down with the Nets people, according to the New York Daily News.
“I really don’t know what is their mindset. I really don’t know if they can come back, if they’re willing to come back and say, “Let’s have a meeting,” or they’re still interested. Everything has died down. So I really haven’t had a chance to figure out what’s going on.”
