Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets should take it from the former star of the New Jersey Nets, Vince Carter, who is now with the Phoenix Suns. With the blockbuster move of Anthony from Mile High City to the Garden State still on hold, many wonders what’s keeping the former Syracuse hotshot from leaving Denver. Surely, it will do him no harm if Anthony lends an ear to what Carter, who played five solid seasons with the Nets, says about his former team. For the man called “Vinsanity”, New Jersey is a great place to play, according to the New York Daily News.
“If 'Melo wants to play in an exhilarating atmosphere, the Nets deserve a shot. I don't know what he's looking for. But with this team moving to Brooklyn, the excitement is there. It was just a great place to play.”
