Al Thornton is suppose to start at the small forward position for the Washington Wizards this season until a change of plan saw coach Flip Saunders playing small ball by using three guards at the same time during the first three games in the NBA pre-season. The 6-8 former Florida Gators star says he is now at a lost for what role he will be playing for the Wizards, but guarantees he will still try to do his best and bring energy on both ends of the court, according to the Washington Post.

“Supposedly. That's the plan (as starting small forward). I want to say, 'Yeah.' I'm still trying to figure everything out, find my way, find my role. I think it's an ongoing process. I'm trying to come out and bring it on both ends of the floor. Bring energy. Be a playmaker and make things happen for me when I have the opportunity.”
