If you think Amare Stoudemire made an easy decision in leaving his former team, the Phoenix Suns, for the New York Knicks, well, better think again. The 6-10 all-star center says it was a tough decision to leave the Suns, most notably Steve Nash, who combined very well with him for six years in the Desert City outfit and has become close friends, according to The New York Post.
“It was a great opportunity for both of us (with Steve Nash). We worked well with each other. We complemented each other's games. It was a great friendship and relationship. It was a tough decision to leave Phoenix.”
