HEAT’S SPEED IS KILLING THE CELTICS

The defending Eastern Conference kingpins, the Boston Celtics, are down 2-0 against the rejuvenated Miami Heat in their second round playoff series and nothing seems to change unless the Beantown outfit is able to control and check the up-tempo game of the Heat. LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and the rest of coach Erik Spoelstra’s charges clearly outhustled the Celtics in the first two games. Even Boston coach Doc Rivers is amazed of the Heat’s speed, strength and the ability to turn garbage into gold, according to the Boston Herald.

“Their closing speed is what impressed me. They’re just amazing how quickly they can recover, out of even a bad spot at times. They’re quick enough to recover and make a good defensive play.”

  1. Great analysis Boyet! Needless to say, Game 3 is the key because Boston can swing the momentum their way, or Miami can go up 3-0 and practically take the series.
