FATIGUE NOT AN ISSUE

Oklahoma City Thunder Head
Coach Scott Brooks.
Three key players of the Oklahoma City Thunder played in the just-concluded FIBA World Championships in Turkey. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook saw action for Team USA and Nenad Krstic played for Serbia. With youthfulness on the side of the three players, Thunder head coach Scott Brooks thinks that fatigue will not be a issue when training camp starts in two weeks time, according to The Oklahoman.

“They have a couple of weeks to recharge their batteries. But they're excited about coming back and being around their teammates. I've texted both (Durant and Westbrook) and they're looking forward to coming back.

“I think it's case by case. We'll see how each of them is feeling. One thing I know is that they're not going to take advantage of the situation. But if they're feeling fatigued and need a day or two off, I'm very supportive of that. We're just going to see how they feel. They might not want any time to rest. But they're going to have some time off.”
