EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

Amare Stoudemire of the
New York Knicks.
As far as Amare Stoudemire and the New York Knicks are concerned, expect the unexpected. Stoudemire, citing his actual experience with the Phoenix Suns, thinks they can go deep in the post-season, according to SLAM. He admitted that the initial goal of the Knicks is to make the playoffs next season, but the 6-10 frontliner is not discounting the possibility of a surprise run that will take them further. Stoudemire also believes that anything below the aforementioned goal would be considered a failure.

“I think anything less than what we have to accomplish. We’re looking to definitely have a better record than what we had last season. And we’re looking to hopefully make the playoffs. So those are all goals as of right now. But you never know — in Phoenix we got further than what we expected so maybe we’ll do the same here.”
