CAREER REVIVAL

Two faces of Adam Morrison. As a
heralded rookie (left) and as a veteran
bench warmer.
Former college ball icon Adam Morrison wants another crack of reviving his forgettable pro ball career. And he finally got the shot he wanted as the Boston Celtics are currently working him out, according to Yahoo! Sports. Morrison, a cult figure during his Gonzaga University playing days, has played sparingly in the last few seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers. Playing meaningless minutes behind Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom, Morrison submitted scoring average of 2.4 ppg in 31 outings last season. Morrison was the third pick over-all in the 2006 rookie draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. If Morrison makes the Celtics cut, he is expected to back-up Paul Pierce at the number three spot.

“Still searching for another shooter, the Boston Celtics have Adam Morrison working out for their front-office and coaching staffs this week at the team’s practice facility, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Morrison worked out on Tuesday and planned to do so again on Wednesday, sources said. The Celtics aren’t close to deciding if they’ll make any kind of make-good contract offer for training camp.”
