ON WINNING A CHAMPIONSHIP

New Boston Celtics big man
Jermaine O'Neal.
Newly-acquired Boston Celtics slotman Jermaine O’Neal likes what he heard from Paul Pierce, when the latter mentioned to him about winning the NBA championship next season. O’Neal said it was the first time in the last four or five years that he had that kind of conversation and it feels real good, according to Boston.com. He perceives it as a perfect ending to a storied career.
“I haven’t talked about winning a championship the last four, five years. It was exciting because I had a chance to kind of write the ending to my story.”
