More than the win, there is another reason to celebrate in the Washington Wizards camp after nipping the Houston Rockets, 98-91. Their current prized possession, top rookie John Wall, just became the second newbie (after Magic Johnson) in NBA history to post a triple-double performance in just his sixth pro game. The number one pick over-all in the rookie draft last June, Wall scored 19 points, dished out 13 assists and grabbed 10 rebounds. The 6-4,  ex-University of Kentucky star also had six steals to his credit. Wall is averaging 17.3 ppg, 9.1 apg and 3.9 rpg in six outings so far with the Wizards. One person who is very happy with Wall’s game is no other than the Wizards head coach Flip Saunders, who says it is fun to watch his ace rookie play and the intelligence he displays in manning the point guard position for the team, according to The Washington Post.

“It's fun to watch. The thing tonight he did is that he did it very much under control. One turnover is impressive, to have as many assists as he had to just one turnover, so it does show you one, his intelligence and how coachable he is.”
