GOT TO BELIEVE IN MAGIC

Despite lacking a reliable back-up big man for franchise star center Dwight Howard, the Orlando Magic is on a roll since making the two big trades last December 18. The Magic is now on a nine-game winning streak including an impressive win over powerhouse Dallas Mavericks on the road during their last outing. Gilbert Arenas, Earl Clark, Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu are the new guys on the block which further help transformed the Magic into serious title contenders in the East. Howard says team balance in offense is the key to their magical run, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

"It's just great knowing that when there's nights where some guys can't get good shots there's guys who can come off the bench and score. Especially when you're playing against some real, real good teams, you need a balanced attack to beat 'em."

  1. Orlando hit the jackpot acquiring the best offensive players from Phoenix. I am still clueless why they traded such talented players that contributed to Phoenix Suns. I am not surprise Nash will be traded somewhere else next year. Vince carter was not a factor in improving the SUNS defensive end. Orlando will definitely be a contender in theEAST. Watch out Celtics. Jun A
