THE HARSH REALITY OF NBA LIFE

(AP Photo).
After surviving two straight 10-day contracts, he started in six of ten games, averaged 4.1 ppg, helped the Dallas Mavericks to a 5-1 card during his six-game start, Sasha Pavlovic finally got his reward: being released from the team. Yes, that’s the harsh reality of life in the NBA. It is something hard to fathom. Pavlovic tried his best and even with a remarkable showing in short stint with the Mark Cuban owned-franchise, he still got axed. Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle and the rest of the Mavericks players can’t help but praised Pavlovic and he says the decision came from the management, according to The Dallas Morning News.

“He’s been an important part of us getting back on track the last four or five games. The decision comes down from the top, and it’s basically having [roster] flexibility going forward.”
