SOFT AS HELL

The Washington Wizards are in a strong position to establish an NBA all-time record. Make that a dubious historical achievement. The Wizards has remained winless in their 23 road outings so far and could become the first and only NBA team ever to lose all of its 41 road games in a season. They are now closing in to the league’s all-time longest road losing streak to start a season, which was set by the 1992-93 Denver Nuggets squad at 29 games. Frustrations can now be felt everywhere in the Wizards camp and forward Al Thornton believes that the team’s road problems can be attributed to the softness in their game, according to the Washington Post.

“We're soft, man. Soft, that pretty much describes the way we played. Pretty soft. Soft as hell.”
