THE ROCKETS MUST PLAY WITH THE SAME GRIT

Houston Rockets head coach Rick Adelman knows his team very well and he knows too what is needed to make it to the next level. The Rockets are currently four games behind the .500 mark and remain at the cellar of the Southwest Division with a 22-26 win-loss card. Consistency seems to be the biggest problem for the Rockets this season as Adelman says they are not playing with the same grit as last season, when the Rockets, despite the injuries, finished the season with a winning record (42-20), according to The Houston Chronicle.

“To be honest with you, we're not playing every day, every game, with the same grit that we played with last year. That's the difference. Last year we didn't have a great big margin for error either, but we played every night, took it to teams every night. This year I don't believe we're doing that.”
