Golden State Warriors assistant coach Stephen Silas guarantees a new Monta Ellis this coming season after working out with the talented guard this summer. Silas marvelled at how Ellis worked hard during the off-season, which includes a remarkable improvement in his over-all maturity, according to SFGate.com. Silas says that Ellis, who was once labelled with an attitude problem, has shown positive signs of growing-up.

“At times in the past, it would waver a little bit with Monta. He would give someone a look or coast through some drills. This year, it hasn't been like that.

“Monta has always worked, but there is a positivity that is coming off of him. People have talked about growing up and maturing in the past, but now he has a positivity that is going hand-in-hand with that maturity.”
