THE ALL-STAR MAKER

Trevor Ariza eyes a
breakthrough season
with the New Orleans
Hornets.
Trevor Ariza sees his transfer to the New Orleans Hornets as a big career move. The 6-8 former UCLA standout believes he can finally crack the all-star status with the help of the Hornets main guy, Chris Paul, according to NBA.Fanhouse.com. Ariza says CP3 has the strong capability to make his teammates look good in playing great basketball. A good case is teammate David West, who became a two-time all-star by playing alongside the 6-0 spitfire guard from Wake Forest University.

“My goal is to become the best player I can be, hopefully becoming an NBA All-Star here with this team. My man here (Paul), is going to help me get there. Isn't that right?”
