"GIVE ME THE BALL!"

Brandon Roy now talks like Michael Jordan. He wants the ball more. That is what the 6-6 guard out of the University of Washington believes he will be more effective. Roy says the more he has the ball, the better the chances of winning for the Portland Trail Blazers, according to The Oregonian. But can the action back-up his talks? Roy thinks so. During the 2008-09 season, Roy averaged 22.6 ppg (the highest in his 4-year NBA career so far) in 78 games and the Blazers posted an impressive 54-28 win-loss mark.

“I want the ball a lot more. I want to be maximized every game. That’s a position that I’m strong with, with the basketball, and I’m extremely confident with it.”
