LOVING DELONTE

Delonte West is back
with his original NBA
team, the Boston Celtics.

Kevin Garnett, like the rest of the Boston Celtics squad, loves having guard Delonte West back into the team’s fold. The 6-4 former St. Joseph University star is a six-year pro who played the last two seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers. KG says West, who is facing a 10-game NBA suspension, makes the Celtics backcourt dangerous with his never-say-die attitude, according to the BostonHerald.com.

“Let me tell you something, man, I know Delonte’s having his issues - whatever and however - but I’m glad we got him, man. The situations in life - we all have difficulties. We’ll back him 1,000 percent. The fact we have him on this team makes us dangerous. He just buys into our system. He’s grit, he’s not going to back down, all fight and blood, I like that.”
