HAWKS TO FLY HIGH WITH MOTION OFFENSE

Atlanta Hawks new head coach
Larry Drew.
Atlanta Hawks first year head coach Larry Drew is a firm believer of motion offense and he hopes to use it as the main weapon of the A-Town outfit next season, according to ajc.com. With athletic talents like Mike Bibby, Joe Johnson, Marvin Williams, Josh Smith and Al Horford, assistant coach Lester Conner thinks that the system, which requires plenty of cutting and running plays, is the most effective type of offensive attack that befits the Hawks.

“It’s very difficult to guard. You have to be precise in your defensive schemes. You can be beat at any spot on the floor at any time. NBA teams don’t like to guard a lot of movement and screens. I’ve heard the guys [Hawks players] are all for it and are excited about it.”
