SUMMER LOVE

D-Wade slams one in.
Summertime is fast becoming the favorite season of Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade. Four out of his eight NBA summers was truly a memorable and enjoyable time for the former Marquette University standout.  June 2003 saw the Heat drafted him 5th over-all in the rookie draft. June 2006 was the year he won his first ever NBA championship. In August 2008, he bagged a gold medal for Team USA in the Beijing Olympics. And in July of this year, LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined him with the Heat. When asked by SLAMONLINE.com during an interview if he enjoyed this year’s summer more than the 2006 title-finish, Wade simply said he enjoyed summer 2010 just as much.

“You know what, it’s been a different enjoyable. I can’t say it’s more enjoyable because that was one of the best times in my life basketball-wise. But this has been a different kind of joy. I’ve really enjoyed the 2010 summer just as much.”
