A PLAYER'S COACH

Stephen Curry will not want to put himself in a situation where he would pressure the Golden State Warriors management in the selection of head coach next season. But if he has his way, he would rather see Don Nelson remains at the helm of the Warriors next season. Curry said he enjoyed his rookie year last season under the watch of the league’s winningest mentor. He described Nelson as a player’s coach, according to Hoopsworld.

“He (Nelson) has his own style.  If you are not familiar with it, it's tough to describe and get thru that first year.  For me, I definitely got along with him very well."  Curry continued: "He is definitely a player's coach and puts you in a position to be successful.  He is at the end of his career so there is going to be a lot of talk about whether he should come back or not, or whether he should move on already or whatever. But, either way, whatever happens, I definitely enjoyed playing for him last year and, one more year, I would love that.  But if they make a move, so be it…”
