Alaska Aces head coach Tim Cone is very confident that there will be no more game seven in the ongoing PBA Fiesta Conference finals series. Which means the Aces will end it all come game six against the San Miguel Beermen. Alaska could have won the title last Sunday if not for a heartbreaking three-point shot missed by Cyrus Baguio at the buzzer as the Beermen escaped with a 96-94 win.

“Diamon (Simpson) chomps at the bit now. We’re a confident team. We took the punch Sunday and it was a good punch. But we’ll recover from it. We’ve grown from the playoffs. Yes, I think we can finish it Wednesday.

“It was basically the same. They ran the same plays. It was just a shake-up, shaking up the guys mentally.”
