Alaska Aces coach Tim Cone is still in euphoria two days after winning the best-of-seven PBA Fiesta Conference championship, 4-2, over the San Miguel Beermen, according to PhilStar. He continues to heap praise on his team for a job well done and cited the heroic performances of import Diamon Simpson, Finals co-MVP winners Cyrus Baguio and LA Tenorio, and the consistent Joe Devance. He also added that it is almost like a script the way the Aces won their 13th PBA championship.

“It’s almost like a script. The guys made terrific shots and defended well from the start. We made a big deal winning the first quarter and just kept the pressure on them. Cyrus hit big shots, and Joe had his own big shots in the first quarter. LA made good passing that kept us afloat in the second and third quarter then Simpson took over in the fourth. It’s really almost like a script.”
