With all the media-hype surrounding the Miami Heat, guard Eddie House calls the team, the “Anointed Champions”, according to AzCentral.com. When asked to compare his stint with the Boston Celtics during their championship run in 2008 and his return to the rejuvenated Heat, House said that playing for the latter is going to be even bigger and he is overly excited with the opportunity to play with the new “Three Kings”.

“I compare it to the year I went to Boston when the Big 3 got together in 2007. But this is going to be even bigger. This is going to be Boston on steroids.

“I'm extremely excited about this opportunity. In Boston, everybody was after us every single night. We were playing hard-fought games every night. This is going to be even crazier. We're anointed champs from the beginning, and we're not the champions.”
