D-Wade drives past Kobe

Normally, whenever Dwyane Wade gets injured or misses a game, distress sets in for the Miami Heat. Well, not anymore. Wade says things are now different with the Heat, thanks largely to LeBron James and Chris Bosh. Minus Wade for 45 minutes, James put on a show to lead the Heat over the Detroit Pistons, 105-89, in their pre-season opener. Wade thinks there is nothing to worry about his hamstring injury and he hopes to be back in a couple of weeks, according to The Palm Beach Post.
“When I was telling fans at the Dolphins game to get there early (to the Heat game), I didn’t mean to get there that early, that they would only see me play for three minutes. In a couple of weeks, I’ll be back and running. Previously, if I go down, it’s a little bit different as far as our gameplan works.”
