The Miami Heat has learned their lessons very well that without the new three kings, mortality sets in. The San Antonio Spurs whipped the Heat, 90-73, in a pre-season game and thus dealt LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade their first loss as a group. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra played James and Bosh only in the first quarter to test the mettle of his team. Wade sat out his second consecutive game following a hamstring injury he suffered during the exhibition opener against the Detroit Pistons. James says it was just a temporary setback or a step backward considering the Heat missed several of his teammates, according to Yahoo! Sports.

“I’ll go off what coach (Erik Spoelstra) and the coaching staff want me to do and we go from there. Tonight we took a step backward, but we had a lot of key guys out.  We haven’t put in a lot of our stuff, they haven’t put in a lot of their stuff, so you just go and take it for what it is.”
