Yao Ming of the Houston Rockets will be able to test his newly-healed foot, as he goes up against Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic in their pre-season opener. Yao expects a difficult match-up against Howard after coming off from a year of inactivity, according to Chron.com.

“That's a good test for me. No question, he's one of the best … big men in this league. I didn't play against him for one year. I believe in that one year, he continued to improve. I didn't do anything.”
