NO POLITICS

Team USA Head Coach
Mike Krzyzewski.
Team USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski said there will be no place for politics when they go up against Iran in the FIBA World Championships, according to FIBA.com. The American mentor believes that sports and politics must never be on the same page. Krzyzewski added that respect for the opposition is a trademark of all sporting events.

“It is a sporting event. We have respect for Iran. I actually played them in the 1970s when I was in the armed forces. I have great feelings for the country. They are sportsmen and so are we and we will have a great game.”
