BIG DIFFERENCE

During his early years with the Houston Rockets, Yao Ming, who is planning a big comeback next season after sitting out the entire 2009-10 season due to an injury, strongly believes that there’s a big difference in the way basketball is being played in the United States and in his homeland of China. 

“Basketball in America is like a culture. It is like a foreigner learning a new language. It is difficult to learn foreign languages and it will also be difficult for me to learn the culture for basketball here.”
