Most of the big name stars in the NBA take advantage of the current off-season by taking a well-deserve vacation with either Europe or the Caribbean Islands as popular destination. That’s why media people were surprised to see NBA scoring champion Kevin Durant in the stands intently watching the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Orlando NBA Summer League. Durant said he just wants to see the new guys in the team and he misses the NBA action just like an ordinary fan do.
"It's about getting an early start, learning more and more of our offense and helping the young guys out ... Besides, there's no more basketball on TV. So why not come here and see NBA basketball up close?"
