Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway, 39, on his announcement about a possible NBA comeback with the Miami Heat, said, in an article which appeared in the Orlando Sentinel, that he is just trying to be a role player with the intention of helping out the younger guys of the team. But if he fails, then it is really all over for the former Orlando Magic superstar.
“That was something that I felt in my heart that I felt my talent would match well with those guys. I wasn’t trying to come back to the league, just that I could help in that role. If it doesn’t work out, I’m going to stay retired.”
