Philadelphia 76ers
guard Andre Iguodala is not only looking forward in returning to the playoffs
next season but to go deep into the postseason as well, as reported in
CSNPhilly.com. With the entry of a new head coach in the fiery Doug Collins, there is
an air of excitement once again in the City of Brotherly Love . The Sixers are coming off
from an anemic season wherein they
posted a 27-55 win-loss mark under erstwhile coach Eddie Jordan, who was fired
after the regular campaign. And now, a new chapter is about to unfold in Philly. There is life indeed after Allen Iverson.
“That is just the way it is by nature. We take a lot of the salary cap
up so we are going to take the brunt of whatever may be, but we understand what
comes with it. I think before last season we were making some progress, but
then last year we took a step back. So we just need to get back to where we
need to be which is the playoffs and not being just satisfied getting there,
but advancing.”
