THE DEAN IS HURT

Still on the aftermath of typhoon “Basyang”, the country’s original NBA authority, Quinito “The Dean” Henson, unfortunately fractured his left arm while cleaning his house and backyard of debris brought by the super-strong winds of said storm. He was scheduled to work the TV coverage of PBA games last night. 


Yesterday afternoon, I received a text message from Quinito as he gave details of the accident. All our prayers are with him for a quick recovery.

“Hurt left arm at height of storm this morning. Slipped in backyard clearing leaves from drain to recede flooding at 6 am. X-ray shows complete fracture. Procedure to repair damage with pins on Saturday at Asian (Hospital). Will do game tonight for TV in temporary cast and sling.”
