Imagine the three
kings without a star. No, it’s not the biblical thing but it is about Stephon
Marbury’s rejection of the Miami Heat’s offer to play the point guard position
and the chance to team-up with the new three kings in LeBron James, Dwyane Wade
and Chris Bosh, according to a report in NYDailyNews.com. Instead, Starbury
will return for another season with the Shanxi Zhongyu Brave Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA).
Marbury averaged 23 ppg and 10 apg for the Dragons last season and was named
MVP of the CBA All-Star game.
“The Heat wanted a point guard. But I don't think a point guard would do
much in the team as they've already had the three guys.”
