Despite winning
championships in almost every level of pro basketball, Miami Heat President Pat
Riley never runs out of challenges that he used as motivation in his continuous
pursuit of winning more NBA titles. He won a title as a player with the Los Angeles Lakers
in 1972, then clinched five more (one as assistant mentor) as the guru for Tinseltown’s showtime in the 80’s. His last title came in 2006 when he gave the
Heat their first and only championship so far. Now with Miami ’s new “3 kings” in LeBron James, Dwyane
Wade and Chris Bosh, Riley is looking forward for his first crown as a front office
man.
“If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best
effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are
ready for greater challenges.”
