During the early 90’s, the Golden State Warriors has one of
the most popular trio in NBA history. Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond and ChrisMullin comprised this group called Run TMC equipped with the most entertaining brand of basketball
during that era. The run-and-gun style and high scoring games of Run TMC typifies
the beauty of freewheeling basketball at its best.
“This high-scoring trio consisted of possible future Hall of
Famers Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Mullin, all of whom finished in
the NBA's top 11 in scoring. Each member of the group brought something
different to the Warriors' lineup.Hardaway was the flashy point guard who would make defenders
dizzy with his famous "killer crossover," Richmond was the slashing, fast
break-finishing two-guard, and Mullin was the lights-out shooting small forward
who could give you 25 points a night.
Since Run TMC never managed to win a title or even reach the finals during their two seasons together, they're usually never considered to be one of the league's greatest trios, but nonetheless, they were pure entertainment in the early '90s.”
