REGAINING OLD FORM

Tyson Chandler had a forgettable stint with the Charlotte Bobcats last season. He saw action in only 51 games with below-par averages of 6.5 ppg and 6.3 rpg, both career-lows in his last five NBA seasons. He joined the Bobcats last summer after being traded by the New Orleans Hornets for Emeka Okafor. A couple of days ago, Chandler is headed to his fourth NBA team following a trade that sent him and Alexis Ajinca to the Dallas Mavericks for Erick Dampier, Eduardo Najera and Matt Carroll, as reported by CBSSports.com. Chandler is looking for a fresh start and is hoping to regain his once-formidable form with the Mark Cuban-owned club.

“The Bobcats have agreed to trade Tyson Chandler and Alexis Ajinca to Dallas for Erick Dampier, Eduardo Najera and Matt Carroll, a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed to CBSSports.com Tuesday.”
