SUNS STILL SHINE IN PHOENIX

For the Phoenix Suns, there is life after Amare Stoudemire. According to Paul Coro of the the Arizona Republic, the Suns are now on the threshold of signing not just one but two reliable free-agent forwards in Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Childress, who is making an NBA comeback after spending the last two seasons in Greece. However, Phoenix might let go of swingman Leandro Barbosa to Toronto as part of the impending deal for Turkoglu. Two-time MVP Steve Nash is expected to lead the charge anew for the new-look Desert City outfit next season.

“The Suns are on the verge of acquiring forwards Hedo Turkoglu and Josh Childress, swiftly rebounding from the loss of Amar'e Stoudemire with two impact players.”
