WINNING BRAND

New Philadelphia 76ers coach Doug Collins strongly believes that even at 31 and still rehabbing from various injuries, forward Elton Brand still have it and remains a vital piece in his bid to turn things around in the City of Brother Love, as reported in the Philadelphia Daily News. Collins wants to bring back the feeling of a winner in his former Duke University star. The 6-8 Brand is coming off from his lowest career averages of 13.1 ppg and 6.1 rpg in 76 outings with the Sixers last season.

"I want Elton to feel the love of the game again. He doesn't have to be an All-Star, but he can be a winning player. He can do that."
